The Village of Rantoul along with Area Waste hosts an annual Free Clean-Up day to allow residents to dispose of large bulky items for free.  This year's event will be on Saturday, May 19, 2018.  Only Rantoul residents who pay for garbage service on their Rantoul Utility Bill can participate.  Please click on the 2018 Clean Up Day link for more information as to the location and times for this event.

However, Rantoul residents are eligible to take their unwanted electronics items - including up to two TV's of any size or type to the first of two Residential Electronics Collections that is also scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 19 at Parkland College in Champaign.

Rantoul residents who would like to dispose of unwanted electronics items must register online in advance to bring those items to the Residential Electronics Collection event.  The online registration will open on Monday, April 9th.  For more event details, visit the online registration.  ** if a resident would like assistance in registering online in advance to be eligible to bring their unwanted electronics to the May 19 Residential Electronics Collection at Parkland College, please notify Deborah Peterik, Administrative Assistant at Champaign County RPC at (217) 819-4035.
