Mobile Home Park Licenses

Requirements


An annual license is required for all Mobile Home Parks within the Village of Rantoul as outlined in Chapter 10 of the code. Licenses are issued for the period of May 1 to April 30.

Applications


A completed application, plat, and fee should be submitted to the Village Clerk for review. Allow 2-3 weeks for processing.

Fee


The license fee is $25 per mobile home site.

Inspection


Before a license can be issued, the inspection department will inspect the property to make sure there are no code enforcement issues and/or that all corrections have been made. An inspection checklist will be provided by the village.

Renewal


Annual renewal application may be submitted from March 1 to April 10 of each year. Once the license is approved, the license will be mailed to the business.
