As part of Black History Month, the Rantoul Public Library will be having a blind potato chip taste test in honor of George Crum, an African American chef from the 1800s who is one of the original inventors of potato chips.
Kids and Teens ages 8+ are welcome to attend.
Attendees will be blindfolded and offered a variety of potato chips to eat. After eating each potato chip, they will write down what they think each chip flavor was (bonus points for guessing brand and flavor), and after, they will find out how accurate their guesses are!
Signing up is encouraged but not required. Ages 8+

Calling all teens and tweens ages 10+! Come to an after hours movie showing with pizza and popcorn on Friday, February 28th from 5:30-8pm.
We will be showing a live-action film from the Marvel universe featuring a superhero who defends his technologically-advanced home country in Africa from the rest of the world, and in particular from someone who wants to sell and export the country’s natural resources.
This film is rated PG-13, so parents will need to provide their signature giving permission if their child wishes to attend and is younger than 13.
Sign up in advance by Wednesday, February 26thth so we know how much pizza to order. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
Ages 10-19. Rated PG-13.

The Rantoul United Pentecostal Church will be hosting an Open House this Saturday, February 29th from 2pm - 4pm.
It will be at our new location, 1221 Enterprise Dr. Rantoul, IL 61866.
