2020 Youth Summer Camps
SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM-
We have received permission to being our Summer Food Program on May 11 from 11-12:30pm, Monday-Friday at the Rantoul Youth Center. This will be for children ages 2-18, living within the RCS and RTHS school district. Due to the possible increase in meals we will be serving, we are asking that you go to myrantoul.com/lunch and fill out the form or by calling 217-893-5775 and leave a message with your name, number of meals, and the time and days you will be coming to pick up. Please make sure you do this by 5pm the night before so we can have an accurate count of meals. This will be a drive thru or walk up pickup only. If driving, please remain in your car AT ALL TIMES, follow the signs and flow of traffic, the meals will be delivered to your car by a staff member. If you or your kids are walking, a staff member will be outside and will bring the meals and place them on a table for pick up. We want everyone to follow social distancing at the time of pickup. Due to COVID-19, as of today (3/16/20) and until further notice, all Recreation Facilities (Rec Office, Forum, and Youth Center) will be closed to the public, staff will still be available to answer any questions, 217-893-5700, and all of our future activities can be registered for online at myrantoul.com We understand the frustration this leaves for membership holders and participants of current activities. Once we make the decision to reopen will be extending memberships and making up for time lost for activities. If your pass is automatically deducted from your account, we will not be deducting at this time. We are all in the same boat, this is a time for people to come together and help one another, the Recreation's number one priority is to make sure we do what we can to protect our members and participants!! Thank you and please take care of you and everyone around you!!!

The Recreation Department is proud to partner with the Kids Foundation of Rantoul, which provides assistance to families in the community for Recreation programs for children in Kindergarten thru 8th Grade.
A meeting is held every Wednesday morning at the Recreation Bldg, 100 E. Flessner, check in time is 9:00 AM.

Contact your insurance provider to see if you qualify, then simply stop by the Recreation office and sign up for your free pass today. For more information please visit the Silver Sneakers website.
The shop is open to the public on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 6-9pm and Saturday mornings, 8-11am. The shop is located in the Recreation Building.
The Recreation Department offers 2 locations for garden plots rental, North Dr Park and Layman St (south of the Recreation Building). Plots are reserved starting April 1, and the cost is $25 for the first and $12.50 for each additional, we offer a 50% discount for seniors.
Peace MealLunches are served Monday-Friday at the Community Service Center, 520 E. Wabash, Rantoul. For more information concerning this program and the requirements, please call 217-893-5506.
We work with CCARTS to provide transportation to Peace Meal, Monday-Friday, as well as shopping trips to County Market on Tuesdays and Wal-Mart on Thursdays. Please contact the Recreation Office for assistance or to schedule a ride, 217-893-5700.
Rules of the Road Courses
Courses are occasionally held at the Recreation Building to review the Rules of the Road and are instructed by the Secretary of State, please visit cyberdriveillinois, to stay up to date on their schedule.
