You are invited to bid on a general
contract. The Contract provides for the furnishing and installing of all
materials, labor and equipment required for the complete construction of approximately 5,250 feet of
reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer from the east pond of the Indian Hills
Subdivision to the drainage ditch located east of the West Side Sewage
Treatment Plant and removal of the existing 24” storm sewer along the same
route. The new storm sewer system includes 18” to 48” RCP storm sewer, 60” x
38” ERCP storm sewer, 4’ to 8’ concrete manholes, 4’ concrete catch basins, a 24”
flared end section, a 60” x 38” flared end section, and a 42” steel casing pipe
installed by jack-and-bore under a Canadian National railroad spur. The project
also includes installation of a new 4’ x 2’ box culvert at Moraine Drive,
pavement removal and replacement, chip-and-seal pavement restoration, and landscape
restoration.
The project is located in the
Village of Rantoul, Champaign County, Illinois 61866.

& McDonnell upon deposit of twenty five dollars ($25.00) for each set of
Contract Documents consisting of one Project Manual and one set of Contract
Drawings. Paper copies may be obtained upon deposit of fifty dollars ($50.00)
and shipped overnight for a fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) or using the
Bidder’s Federal Express account number. Deposits are non-refundable as
